Program Description

Youth (ages 9-14yrs) Intro to Jumps & Drops - Sunday July 20, 9:30am - 12:00pm Are you an intermediate/advanced mountain bike rider who’s looking to get their wheels off the ground? In this course we’ll take you through a series of progression steps that will help you learn how to safely execute jumps and drops. The course will start with a 1hr skills session on kickers followed by a trail ride to practice new skills (approx. 1.5 hours of trail riding). Youth must have a mountain bike in great working order: Must have gears, hand brakes, disc brakes and at a minimum front suspension. A properly fitted bike helmet and bike gloves are required. Skills we’ll practice: - Jumping body position - Wheel lifts - Jump technique (wedges and kickers) - Tabletops - Drop technique Ratio: 6 riders per instructor Minimum recommended fitness levels (see Fitness & Skills Ratings page HERE or under the ABOUT tab) Skill - 3 Fitness - 2


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than one week before the start of the class will receive a 90% refund. Cancellation within one week of the start of the class will not be refunded. If Sharp MTB Skills needs to reschedule due to weather our best effort will be made to find a new date. If no new dates are possible we offer a full refund.
